About Us

In March 2020, Kontji Anthony, learned from her sister, Aurora, that their hometown shelves were empty in New Rochelle, New York. After Kontji mailed a care package to Aurora, she launched a Facebook group called "Pandemic Product Sightings" in the city where she now lives, Memphis, Tennessee. The goal: for Memphians to crowdsource photos of essential products back in stock, alerting one another where the product could be located so to protect their families.

Within weeks, a third Anthony sister, Johnita, jumped in to help with growing demand in the group. During the pandemic, Memphians turned to one another in their hunt for life-saving products and the Facebook group became a village in one of the most generous cities in America.

As the private, word-of-mouth group evolved to 34,000 Memphians and group needs expanded beyond pandemic products.
